Apple & cinnamon porridge

Warm oat porridge with stewed apple and a pinch of cinnamon.
Ingredients
- Rolled oats — 1/3 cup
- Apple — 1/2 (peeled, grated)
- Cinnamon — 1 small pinch
- Cow's milk (in cooking) — 3/4 cup
Method
- Stew the grated apple with 1 tbsp water for about 4 minutes until soft.
- Simmer the oats with the milk for about 5 minutes, stirring, until thick.
- Stir the apple and cinnamon through.
- Cool to just warm before serving.
