Iron-rich smooth dinner puree of pumpkin and red lentils.

Method

  1. Rinse the lentils and simmer in 1 cup water for about 15 minutes until very soft.
  2. Steam the pumpkin for about 12 minutes until very soft.
  3. Blend together with the turmeric until smooth.
  4. Stir in the olive oil and cool to just warm.
